शिक्षा ----पिछड़ा अहीरवाल, पिछड़ गए अहीर अहीरवाल, यादवों की रियासत का वह गौरवशाली नाम जिसके वीरों ने सन 1857 के विद्रोह के दौरान अपने राजा राव तुला राम यदुवंशी के नेतृत्व में अंग्रेजों की ईंट से ईंट बजा दी। आज़ादी के बाद यह रियासत पंजाब प्रांत का हिस्सा बनी और उसके बाद सन 1966 में हरियाणा प्रदेश का हिस्सा बनी। हरियाणा प्रदेश के बनने में सर्वाधिक योगदान तत्कालीन सांसद और अहीरवाल रियासत के वारिस राव वीरन्द्र सिंह यादव का रहा व राव साहब हरियाणा के दूसरे मुख्यमंत्री भी रहे। इसके बाद हरियाणा में कोई भी यदुवंशी आज तक मुख्यमंत्री नहीं रहा। इसका नतीजा यह रहा की गत करीब 40 वर्षों में अहीरवाल बुरी तरह से पिछड़ गया। हरियाणा का एक जाट बहुल राज्य होना मुख्य तौर पर अहीरवाल के लोगों के लिए घातक सिद्ध हुआ है। आज अहीरवाल में हरियाणा के तीन जिले समाहित है, ये जिले हैं गुडगाँव, रेवाडी और महेन्द्रगढ़। हरियाणा बनने से पहले रेवाड़ी के अहीर कॉलेज का नाम उत्तर भारत के उत्कृष्ट शिक्षण संस्थानों में गिना जाता था। हरियाणा के गठन के बाद भी काफी अरसे तक यह दक्षिण हरियाणा में शिक्षा का केंद्र बना रहा। परन्तु अग
